New Jersey, New York , Philly based photographer thats passionate about all types of work. I started off in Central Jersey and built my way up around the tri-state area. Through social media and attaching myself to blogs such as EDMNYC , ExQlusiv.com my drive for event photography became bigger and I made my name known for myself.
Since I was 18, I was always in the club and nightlife industry. The style I had as a individual was at the time a mohawk and gradually in nightlife coworkers attached the name "Scottyhawk". As my passion grew stronger and I moved up in the industry, I began to do what I does best, capture moments.
Through college I
studied visual arts and photography. With my knowledge I took what I learned to the next step and started shooting for European Car shows , tattoo conventions , molding events. I moved on to doing photography at the clubs I was familiar with. Mister East in Roselle NJ , where I would meet and shoot for many artists within its first year of opening . My photography and social skills helped get myself close with them to the point where their managers, DJs themselves or the club owners would ask for me personally. Artists well known such as Laidback Luke , Richie Santana , Mija , Slander , Josh Wink , Cry Wolf , Herobust , Ghastly , Brillz , Tommy Trash , Dirty South , Chus & Cheballos , and many more. I then expanded my work to other clubs around NJ , NY , and Philly. In NY I covered over 80 shows at Webster Hall , Pacha , Governors Island , Space Ibiza , Cielo and Bounce Boat , Analog Brooklyn . As I grew I worked even bigger festivals such as Camp Bisco , and MysterylandUsa , Moonrise Festival , and Electric Zoo Festival, Electric Forest and EDC NY.
Some People will say being a photographer is "so easy" or "all you have to do is point and shoot."
It takes way more then just that to get to where I am today and
I am very grateful for those that helped along the way.
